Groups bring ‘Joy to the Polls’ to Tulare
Power California, Dolores Huerta Foundation come together in Tulare to encourage residents to vote in the primary election
TULARE – On the day of the primary election, the Dolores Huerta Foundation partnered with Power California to host a “Joy to the Polls” event meant to encourage community members of Tulare County to vote.
On June 2, at 900 N. H St., members of Power California and the Dolores Huerta Foundation collaborated on a get-out-to-vote event in Tulare. The groups aimed to encourage community members in town and surrounding areas to vote in the primary elections this year.
Those who participated in the event met at Tulare’s Centennial Park and walked as a group to Prosperity Sports Park to promote their goal.
