Resource Center Coordinator

Monica Jimenez serves as the Resource Center Coordinator for the Dolores Huerta Foundation with a passion for connecting individuals in the community to vital resources. In her role, she helps bridge access to healthcare, food, and various social services through thoughtful referrals and outreach. Monica is known for her patience, empathy, and compassion, which she applies in her day-to-day work to build strong, supportive relationships with community members.

With a background in volunteerism and local campaigning, Monica played an integral part in organizing the Unrig Our Economy campaign in 2022, advocating for systemic change. She is committed to ongoing learning and community involvement.

Outside of her professional work, Monica is deeply invested in animal welfare. She fosters dogs and volunteers with organizations that offer low-cost spay and neuter services, driven by her hope to reduce the need for euthanasia in shelters. Her compassion for both people and animals fuels her mission to make a positive impact in her community.
