Jessica was born in Pangasinan, Philippines, and immigrated to the United States with her family when she was eight years old. She recently graduated from the University of California, Davis, with a Bachelor’s in English and International Relations. During her time at UC Davis, she heavily supported efforts to establish the first-ever college center devoted to studying Filipinos in the U.S. She also briefly lived in France to further her writing and American Literature studies.
In her free time, Jessica loves to read, playing cozy video games, and spending time with her cat.
