CECE VALENCIA, MASTER OF CEREMONIES
Cece Valencia is a proud Los Angeles native and beloved voice in hip hop radio. She began her career at Wild 96.1 in the Inland Empire, went on to lead the charts at Hot 97.5 in Las Vegas, and later joined 93.5 KDAY, where she now hosts middays. Cece has also lent her voice to Grand Theft Auto V, worked on Jennifer Lopez’s NuvoTV, and remains a passionate advocate for education, self-love, and LA’s vibrant cultural roots.

Bamby Salcedo is a beloved leader, friend, and community member whose activism has transformed lives across California, the nation and beyond. As the President and CEO of the TransLatin@ Coalition, she has built powerful pathways for trans Latinas and continues to uplift communities too often pushed to the margins. Her work—spanning health equity, immigration, incarceration, and human rights—is rooted in deep love, lived experience, and an unshakable belief in our collective dignity. Bamby’s presence commands rooms, touches hearts, and moves people to action. She leads not just with brilliance, but with joy, humor and fierce compassion.
YVONNE WHEELER
Yvonne Wheeler is a lifelong champion for working people, civil rights, and justice—with a legacy rooted in fearless leadership and deep community power. From her earliest activism as a student in Baton Rouge during school desegregation to her historic election as the first African American woman to serve as President of the Los Angeles County Federation of Labor, Yvonne has never stopped organizing for dignity and equity. Her decades of service in the labor movement, civil rights campaigns, and voter mobilization have empowered countless workers across California—and inspired the next generation of Black labor leaders.
ED BEGLEY JR.
Ed Begley Jr. is an acclaimed actor, environmentalist, and longtime supporter of the Dolores Huerta Foundation. Known for his Emmy-nominated role on St. Elsewhere and appearances in Best in Show, A Mighty Wind, and Pineapple Express, Ed has built a remarkable career across film, television, and stage.
Beyond his work in entertainment, Ed has been a tireless advocate for sustainability and climate action—leading by example and inspiring generations to live in harmony with the planet. We are proud to honor Ed for using his voice to uplift communities, protect the environment, and stand alongside DHF in the fight for justice.
