This morning, the LA County Board of Supervisors officially proclaimed April 10, 2025, as Dolores Huerta Day in honor of her 95th birthday! 🥳 This powerful proclamation, championed by long-time advocate Supervisor Hilda Solis, celebrates Dolores’s lifelong commitment to justice, workers’ rights, and empowering communities.

Over at the Los Angeles Unified School District, the school board joined in, passing a similar proclamation led by Board Member Dr. Rocio Rivas. The boardroom was packed with students, teachers, organizers, and community members, all showing up in full force to celebrate and share how much Dolores has touched their lives. 💪

April 10 marks Dolores’s actual birthday, and this year, we’re going all out to honor 95 amazing years of activism and movement-building.
