Gary Soto’s play ‘In and Out of Shadows’ will be presented on Friday Sept. 25 at 9:30 a.m. at the Simonsen Performing Arts Center at Bakersfield College and on Saturday Sept. 26 at 7:00 p.m. at the Dore Theatre at CSU Bakersfield.
DHF Education Program Associate and Bakersfield College Professor, Gerald Cantu, Ph.D will moderate panel discussions featuring local leaders, community experts, and DREAMers. The DREAMers will share personal stories illustrating some of the challenges undocumented people confront every day due to the the lack of access to basic health care. Local leaders will speak about the importance #Health4All and the benefits of providing access to health care for all Californians.
