Thank you Local Hearts Foundation for your donation of 10,000 masks! Dolores Huerta Foundation Organizers Luisa and Angel spent their week distributing to some of #CentralValley’s #essentialworkers in the fields of Parlier, Lindsay and Strathmore, California. Each person also received a workers rights resource flyer to ensure they are informed of their rights during these unprecedented times. These vulnerable professionals are not likely to receive PPE from employers. They are often working outdoors in conditions of poor air quality – and are statistically most likely to be working alongside someone with COVID-19. Access to these masks will save lives.
