Grace Parra, Latina comedian, host, writer,and actress, graciously gave a welcoming and praising shout out to Dolores Huerta and the DHF. Parra is most recently starring in documentary “Salud! Yes Please.”, where she embarks on a both educational and comedic journey to illuminate the importance of the Affordable Care Act (ACA). She meets with lawmakers, activists, and average Americans who have benefitted from the ACA, and what they stand to lose with the repealing of the act. Parra sheds light on the current detrimental issue of health care, while infusing a comedic twist that makes the experience enjoyable, yet preserving the seriousness of the situation.
