A Year on the Frontlines, a one-year commemoration event of the COVID-19 pandemic in California.

About this Event

As we approach the one year mark of this pandemic, we are bringing together our network of Latino philanthropists, grassroots leaders, and advocates to reflect on the challenges and highlight lessons learned during the pandemic to inform our collective future.

Our panel filled with community leaders will help us inform policymakers and funders on the highlight the immediate and long-term solutions that will lead to our collective healing and rebuilding of a just, equitable California. We will feature:

  • Cecilia Castro of the Dolores Huerta Foundation
  • Luz Gallegos of TODEC Legal Center
  • Armando Valdez of CCAT
  • Jessica Paz-Cedillos of The School or Arts and Culture

COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic for Agricultural Workers

As members of the United Against COVID-19 (UAC) Coalition we are partnering with the state to host vaccination clinics, specifically targeting agricultural workers.
David Head Center, 10300 San Diego St., Lamont, 93241. About 500 doses will be administered at this location.Saturday, March 20 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m Sunday, March 21 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
El Mercado Latino, 1999 Edison Hwy, Bakersfield, 93305. About, 300 doses will be administered at this location.Sunday, March 21 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Agricultural workers can register for the vaccination by calling (661) 383-2588.
