The Dolores Huerta Foundation (DHF) is recruiting volunteers in Kern county for a signature gathering information and outreach campaign to help spread the word about The California Healthcare, Research and Prevention Tobacco Tax Act of 2016 (also known as the Cigarette Tax to Fund Healthcare, Tobacco Use Prevention, Research, and Law Enforcement Initiative) and The Public Safety AND Rehabilitation Act of 2016 (also know as The Parole, Early Release and Juvenile Trial Reform Initiative)
DHF is coordinating a volunteer walk in Kern County.
When: Saturday, May 7th from 10am – 3pm
Where: Meet at 1527 19th Street, on the 4th Floor, in Suite 430 in Downtown Bakersfield (19th and Eye St.)
Need community service hours? Unable to make the Volunteer Walk dates?…No problem, you can volunteer on your own schedule!
