On Monday night, the Kern High School District Board will hear public comments on the Local Control and Accountability Plan and Annual Update released on May 23rd. Community members are called to make public comment on the draft that was develop and posted on the district’s website.

Insist that the KHSD Board respect and honor input from the community. We are asking for a more transparent and detailed budget proposal. We are advocating for more funds to be allocated to improving parent and student engagement and to improving school climate – specifically the implementation of Positive Behavior Intervention Supports and Restorative Justice practices district wide.
