We hope that you will be able to join us as a player or sponsor for our longest running annual event. Last year was an unexpected and difficult year for us all. For this reason, we have lowered our 2021 entry fee. Past celebrities have already graciously reached out to attend this year. Previous celebrities have included Benjamin Bratt, Rosario Dawson, Dennis Leoni, Jay Montalvo, Jose Solano, Eva Longoria, George Lopez, Esai Morales, Cristela Alonzo, Kenneth Landreaux, and Laffit Pincay.

The mission of DHF is to inspire, organize and empower grassroots volunteer organizations. As you can imagine, much of our work this past year has been directed at raising funds to aid families financially impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic. DHF conducted food distribution drives and hosted vaccination clinics. Proceeds from this year’s event will go towards the construction of the Dolores Huerta Peace & Justice Cultural Center, a multicultural community center complex to be located in downtown Bakersfield. The DHPJCC will serve as DHF headquarters and will include an auditorium, outdoor event center, early child development center, and a community organizing training academy.
